For June’s Open Demo Event, HGA is proud to invite artist, Sam Drumgoole, to our studio! Sam Drumgoole, born in 1976 in New York, first encountered glass during elementary school trips to the Corning Museum, where the furnace’s blazing heat captivated him. After training at the Pilchuck Glass School, he attended Alfred University, where he fully developed his artistic voice. Today, his work examines power, identity, and daily life. Drumgoole has shared his craft across the globe, working with glass artists in Japan, Italy, France, and Germany, bringing an international perspective to his powerful and reflective art.
Join us for a live glassblowing demonstration @ 6-9 PM where our hot shop team will be making 1-2 sculptural pieces in front of a live audience! Snack and beverages are provided with no reservation or ticket necessary for entry.
